Free retirement tools
Welcome. Most people arrive with one specific question: when to claim Social Security, how big an RMD will be, whether a move would save tax. Each tool below answers one of those in seconds, for free, without an account. Nothing you type is stored; your inputs stay in the page address so you can bookmark or share a result.

Questions
Are these tools really free?
Yes. Every tool here is free to use with no account, no email and no bank linking. Yearfold earns money from optional Pro and Couples plans and a $9.99 PDF report, not from these tools.
Do you store what I type?
No. The tools run in your browser. Your inputs stay in the page address (so you can bookmark or share a result) and are never saved to our servers. We count anonymous usage, such as how often a tool is opened, without cookies and without recording your numbers.
How current are the rules?
Each tool shows the date its rules were last checked against SSA, IRS, CMS and other primary sources, and lists those sources. Several figures change every year; we review the tools when the new amounts are published.
How is a tool different from the full calculator?
A tool answers one question with only the inputs that question needs. The full calculator models your whole household across 10,000 simulated market futures, and many tools can hand their inputs to it with one click.
Is this financial advice?
No. The tools are educational estimates based on published rules and the assumptions shown. They don't know your full situation, so check important decisions with a qualified professional.
Yearfold is a financial-education tool. It is not a registered investment adviser and does not provide personalized investment, tax, or legal advice. Results are probabilistic projections based on historical data and stated assumptions; they are not guarantees. Methodology
