What to expect
A real reply, from a real person, in two business days or less. If a question needs a longer answer or research against a primary source, I’ll acknowledge first and then come back with the substance — I’d rather take an extra day than send you a confidently wrong answer.
If you’ve found a number that looks wrong — a tax bracket, a Social Security threshold, an IRMAA tier, anything — please tell me. Yearfold updates federal numbers on a known cadence (SSA in October, IRS in November, Medicare in January), but I’d rather hear it from you the day you spot it.
What email can’t do
I can’t give personalized investment, tax, or legal advice over email. Yearfold is a financial-education tool, not a registered investment adviser, and I’m a software engineer rather than a CFP® or CPA. For decisions about your specific situation — Roth conversions, claim timing, tax-efficient withdrawal sequencing on a real portfolio — please consult a fee-only CFP or a CPA who knows your full picture. Yearfold’s job is to give you the honest probabilistic math; their job is the personalized call.
