Frequently asked
How does the free trial work?
New subscribers get 14 days of Pro or Couples free, monthly or annual. You add a card at checkout, and the first charge happens when the trial ends — we email you 7 days and 3 days before. One free period per person: if you've had a trial, a subscription or a PDF's Pro month before, you subscribe without a trial.
How do I cancel?
Settings → Billing → Manage subscription → Cancel. It takes a minute. Cancel during a trial and you're never charged; cancel later and you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Your saved plans stay either way.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — 14 days from your first charge, no questions asked. Email hello@yearfold.com and the refund usually posts within 5–10 business days.
What's the Pro month that comes with the PDF?
Every $9.99 PDF includes 30 days of Pro from the day you pay, with no card saved and no auto-renew — when the 30 days end, Pro simply stops. Subscribe before then and your first payment is $9.99 less. A refunded PDF ends its Pro month.
Do I have to link my bank or brokerage accounts?
No, never. You type in your own numbers. Yearfold doesn't use Plaid or any account aggregator, and what you enter is never sold or shared.
Is Yearfold Pro investment advice?
No. Yearfold is a financial-education tool, not a registered investment adviser, and it doesn't give personalized investment, tax or legal advice. Results are probabilistic projections from historical data and stated assumptions — not guarantees.
